About our brake pads

Developed with top riders, our sintered metal brake pads will allow you to reach higher levels of performance in braking whether you are racing a world championship or just riding leisurely on a Sunday.

All of our brake pads are sintered metal and available in VX and VRX compounds. Used mostly for leisure and sport, our VX brakes provide a consistent feel and high-braking progressiveness. For racing purposes, our VRX brakes have a ceramic coating on the backing plate; this allows for lower heat transfer resulting in high performance braking in dry or wet weather. Both VX and VRX compounds have low wear.

Our range is specifically developed for MTB by CL Brakes R&D department on its dedicated brake dyno. The close partnership with our leading teams and riders provides us with valuable information such as onboard data acquisition.

Our unique sintered metal friction compounds provide a simpler bedding-in process. They also have unbeatable friction stability that far outperforms the old technology (known as organic). Only sintered metal technology can meet all the demands for powerful braking, heat resistance, and effective braking in a multitude of terrains such as water, mud, sand and cold temperatures.
